Nano-scale Transparent Colorants is the newest developed transparent colorant of advanced solvent borne pre-dispersion. The basic material of this product is pigment, not dyestuff, it is far better than that colorants made of dyestuff in tinting strength, color brightness and transparence etc. properties by using this product. Therefore, this product can either be applied for indoor-coatings or outdoor-coatings, whatever this product can be used in a wide range of applications.
Due to this product is not made of dyestuff, it is not produced to be the colorant of pre-dispersion by way of a dissolve mechanism as dyestuff does, therefore, unlike dyestuff the color is easily migrated to the film surface from the film inside. This product has the dyestuff-like transparent property, but has no disadvantages of dyestuff. This product is good to be applied in coatings, inks and other related industries etc instead of dyestuff. According to the current color catalogue, there are black, white, red, blue and yellow etc. above some 10 colors available for customer’s choice and color-matching.
Using advanced nano-dispersion technology, pigment particle size less than 100nm ensures high transparency and excellent dispersion.
Transparency improved by over 30% compared to regular colorants, perfectly showing substrate texture, especially suitable for wood coatings.
